Top 50 NBA Players 2013/14 – #39 Luol Deng

Luol Deng Cavs

Next up in our look at the top 50 NBA players this season is our very own Luol Deng, who’s plied his trade with both the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers this year.

Deng hasn’t been quite as productive compared to last season, mainly because of injury and the trade which ended up with him travelling to a sub-par Cavaliers team, but he’s still stuck in our top 50 countdown.

Defensively he’s still one of the best in the league, often guarding the toughest opposing player, and he’s delivered offensively as well.

He can spot up and shoot from beyond the arc well, he rebounds well for his size, and is a safe pair of hands offensively, good for just a single turnover each game.

Deng’s long been considered one of the most energetic players in the league, often playing extended minutes and covering massive distances each game, but the question now is where he could be doing that next season?

Free agency is looking like a big thing this summer, and Deng could well be courted by a lot of teams this year, but where could he end up?

Hopefully we could see him challenging for a Championship with whichever team he opts for next year!
