Top 50 NBA Players 2013/14 – #29 Jamal Crawford

Jamal Crawford

The Los Angeles Clippers dynamic shooting guard Jamal Crawford is next up in our countdown of the top 50 NBA players of the 2013/14 season, but is he worth his spot?

Despite being considered one of the older players in the league, Jamal Crawford has continued to wow one side of the City of Angels with his crafty handles and phenomenal eye for the basket.

Averaging 18.6ppg, Crawford has been one of the biggest scoring bench players once again this season, and has continued to defy his critics with his flashy play.

He’s not the strongest defensive player on the court, but his dynamic scoring ability is more than worth the loss of strength at the other end of the court.

A long range sharpshooter and a notorious ankle-breaking ball handler, Crawford is arguably the most unpredictable player to grace the league, and has even built a reputation as being an expert foul drawer from outside the arc.

Whilst nobody expects Crawford to keep up his timeless performances, he’s a player we should witness in awe whilst we still can, as it’s not likely to be too far off when he hangs the sneakers up, putting an end to one of the most exciting careers the NBA has ever seen.
