NBA London 2017: Denver Nuggets star Emmanuel Mudiay excited to head to the O2

Emmanuel Mudiay is excited to head to NBA London 2017

Denver Nuggets starlet Emmanuel Mudiay is excited to be heading to NBA London 2017 in January with less than a month to go until the event.

Mudiay has been one of Denver’s bright young talents over the past season, and is thrilled to be able to showcase his abilities at the O2 Arena.

“I think we’re going to have fun, but I think when we get out there on the court, it’s all business.

“We’re going to be locked in. But you have to enjoy life as well. Make sure you do stuff to keep you at peace.

“That’s a good thing for us. Taking a team trip out there, but still having a game, I think it will be fun.”

Bringing the NBA Abroad

Mudiay even expressed his thoughts on the importance of bringing the NBA to markets like the UK where the game isn’t as readily available to fans.

“It’s huge. The NBA is trying to go global. They already have, but it’s even bigger now.

“You don’t really think London when you think basketball. You think more football or other sports, but this is going to be the NBA’s seventh regular-season game there, which means there has been a good response from the people.”

NBA London 2017 pits the Denver Nuggets against the Indiana Pacers, with both teams battling to be involved in the playoff picture in their respective conferences.

The Denver Nuggets host the Indiana Pacers at The O2 in London on Jan. 12 as part of NBA Global Games London 2017. The game is live on BT Sport or via NBA LEAGUE PASS (www.nba.tv).
