Marvin Williams Fined for Elbow on Lou Amundson

Lou Amundson

Lou Amundson might be dealing with a headache or two for the rest of the week, after Charlotte Hornets forward Marvin Williams delivered this nasty elbow to the big man during the Knicks’ win over the Hornets last night.

Williams received a flagrant two for the foul, and has since been slapped with a $15,000 fine for ‘excessive contact’ with his elbow.

You can check out the foul in the video below, with Williams delivering a blow more common in the octagon than on the basketball court.

Amundson had to have the wound glued, and went through the NBA’s compulsory concussion test afterwards, reportedly passing them.

This will likely be the last punishment Williams receives from the NBA for this flagrant foul, but if he repeats these actions the league could be upping his fine or suspending him.

Either way, if he does get a suspension – he might have a career in the UFC on the cards!
