Jeremy Lin’s first triple-double capped off a 12-game-night in the NBA, sparking the Rockets to a 106-92 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Lin bagged his first career triple-double (15 points, 10 assists, 11 rebounds) off the bench for Houston with James Harden and Dwight Howard both scoring above 25 to coast by Cleveland.

Luol Deng top scored for Cleveland with 24 points in the Cavaliers 31st loss of the season, whilst Houston are looking good with a 32-17 record.

In the other nights games, Indiana squeezed by the Brooklyn Nets 97-96 as Paul George and Roy Hibbert combined for 40 points to sweep the season series over Brooklyn.

Oklahoma suffered a shock 96-81 loss at Washington, ending their 10 game win streak, with five Wizards players scoring in double figures.

Kevin Love scored 43 points and grabbed 19 rebounds but still couldn’t power Minnesota through to the win against the Atlanta Hawks, who came out 120-113 victors.

The Detroit Pistons had Andre Drummond to thank after beating the Philadelphi 76ers at home, Drummond bagged a 22 point and 14 rebound double-double in the winning effort.

A Zach Randolph double-double also powered Memphis to victory at home against Milwaukee, Randolph proved tough to stop throughout the night, ending the game with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Anthony Davis showed the league just what the All-Star Game will be missing after his shock omission, using a physical defensive effort to give a packed New Orleans Arena something to cheer about, beating the Chicago Bulls 88-79.

Another big man proved the difference in San Antonio’s two point victory over Sacramento, as Tim Duncan scored 23 and grabbed 17 boards in the 95-93 win.

The Miami Heat bagged the only away win of the evening, cruising by the New York Knicks at MSG, with Lebron James leading the charge with 30 points and 7 assists.

Phoenix swept the Charlotte Bobcats aside thanks to a 52 point bench scoring attack, winning 105-95 to continue their early season form.

Lamarcus Aldridge led the Portland Trailblazers by the Toronto Raptors with a 27 point, 15 rebound effort, to give Rip City a 106-103 win over the Canadian franchise.

The Clippers finished the proceedings with a 15 point win over Utah, who slump to a 16-31 record for the season, mostly in thanks to a 27 point performance from Jamal Crawford, who has now had more than 25 points in 50 games off the bench throughout his career.

Sunday night features just the one game, with the Boston Celtics hosting the Orlando Magic in an all-eastern conference match-up between two teams well under .500.
