Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown is ready to head outside of his comfort zone as his team take on the Philadelphia 76ers in NBA London 2018.

Following the confirmation of the two Eastern Conference sides, Brown is keen to make the trip despite being in unfamiliar surroundings.

“Yeah I think that is an important factor [playing basketball in a different country]. Just going across seas and just being in an unfamiliar territory, it gets you out of your comfort zone a little bit.” Said Brown.

“It makes you rely on your friends or your teammates more because you don’t want to go somewhere by yourself because you’re unfamiliar.

“It makes you a little bit more uncomfortable and builds a stronger bond.”

Having recently featured in NBA Africa for Team World, Brown knows plenty about making trips with the league, but is also wary of the task his side will face against a team on the rise in Philadelphia.

“I think they’re a very good young team [the 76ers], I think we have the edge on them now just with experience.

“We have some really good players but I think they have good young guys. I think in the future they’re going to be good.”

The Philadelphia 76ers will host the Boston Celtics at The O2 on January 11;  to sign up for early access to tickets, exclusive offers and the latest team news, please visit www.NBA.com/London
